Wicker Chairs
There’s something about wicker that just adds a lovely casual warmth to a space. Love it used in chairs for dining spaces both outdoors and in:
I’m thinking of getting some wicker chairs for our patio. Do you have any wicker in your home?

Dining Settees
Love the idea of using sofa seating in a dining area. It’s pleasantly unexpected and helps create a comfortable casual feel:

Chandeliers and Rustic Tables
Two examples showcasing a beautiful combination of things I love: a rustic kitchen table, a crystal chandelier, and large windows allowing in abundant sunlight. Perfect for evoking a sense of relaxed glamour.

These are going in my dream home inspiration file

White Frame Chairs
Love chairs with a white painted frame and a dark or richly hued upholstery fabric. The pairing creates such a beautiful contrast. A few favorite examples:

Painted Chevron Floor
Came across this image a couple of weeks ago and still have it in my head. I think you’ll see why:

Isn’t that chevron painted floor beautiful?? It was designed by Merrilee McGehee. See more of her work here.

A Favorite: Wishbone Chairs
The Wegner “Wishbone” chair is casual yet elegant. The curved hind legs, the semicircular top rail and the graceful y-back make it beautiful from every angle. I love that it’s not fussy or ornate and therefore has a light, almost airy quality about it.

Psst…See another chair style favorite in this previous post.

A Fresh Color Palette
Love the color palette used in this apartment. The white looks so fresh and crisp against the contrasting blue walls and blue rug and the bright pink and green accessories (which can easily be switched out!) add happy accents of color.

Beautifully Organized Space of the Week
Since this week is a short one due to the upcoming holiday, I thought I’d post this week’s beautifully organized space a little early.
This is space is from the perfectly put together home of Martha Stewart Living’s Kevin Sharkey. Check out how orderly his kitchen is:
He took optimized cabinet space by working vertically and taking advantage of adjustable shelves. To maximize space in your own cabinets, try utilizing organizers like these.
