Happy Weekend
The sun is great right now for photographing my new pillows (I’ll be posting them soon on Etsy then later in my direct shop!) so I’m working a few hours, but definitely will still be making time for some indulgent leisurely moments. Hope you’re all enjoying your weekend!

Can you believe this will be the last weekend of October? I can’t either.
Looking forward to fall favorites -pumpkin patch tomorrow afternoon, and pumpkin spice pancakes Sunday morning -yum!

Happy Friday!
We’re having summer-like temperatures over here so might take advantage and go out to the dog beach with the pup. That is, if the weird feeling I have in my throat and left ear right now doesn’t turn out to be a cold or ear infection.

Outdoor Living
Yesterday we took advantage of the beautiful sunny weather and had a backyard bbq to celebrate two things: my dad’s birthday, and my sister’s (and her now officially husband!) court marriage (the big wedding is next Saturday).
We had so much yummy food – shrimp, chicken, grilled veggies and corn, pasta salad, frijoles, carne asada, pico de gallo… not to mention dessert! I took a stab at making a rainbow cake. Check out my twitter page to take look at how it turned out!
