Sofa Pillow Layering Guide
How many layers of pillows should I do on my sofa?
This is a question we often get asked.
The long answer is it depends on various factors - the size and type of sofa you have, your goals for the space, how much color, texture and pattern you want to bring in, etc. These are some of the things we consider and address when making customized pillow recommendations for our one-on-one clients.

The short answer is that one to three layers works well for most sofas, with three being the most popular choice. Fewer layers give you a clean no-fuss look, while more layers allow you to mix textures, colors and patterns. Use the illustrated guide below to help you visualize what might work best for you. If you're unsure, you can always start with one layer and add more later.
