Pillow Size Guide for Twin Beds
THE BEST SIZES
BEST LUMBAR SIZES:
- you can do a lumbar that's anywhere from 24" wide, up to 40" wide (I wouldn't go smaller than 20" wide)
BEST SQUARE SIZES:
- 20x20 (you can fit two side-by-side)
- 26x26
- 28x28
ARRANGEMENT IDEAS
OPTIONS WITH ONE LAYER OF DECORATIVE PILLOWS:
- Option 1: one long lumbar such as a 12x24, 13x25, 14x26, 14x30 or 14x38
- Option 2: one large 28x28 pillow (a 26x26 euro also works)
- Option 3: one custom 24x40 pillow that is tall enough to hide not-so-pretty sleeping pillows in the back and is wide enough to take up the full width of the bed
OPTIONS WITH TWO LAYERS OF DECORATIVE PILLOWS:
- Option 1: two 20x20 pillows and one long lumbar in front (20x20 is the largest square size that you fit two of side-by-side)
- Option 2: one large 26x26 or 28x28 pillow and then either one 20x20 square or one long lumbar such as a 14x26 in front
- Option 3: one custom 24x40 pillow and then one long lumbar in front
